Travel is truly a passion and a way of life for Sarah Fazendin. After a successful career in advertising, she managed all marketing and representation activity in North America for the Kenya Tourist Board. Active in her community, Sarah is a member of the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce, the Rocky Mountain Association for the Promotion of Travel to Africa (APTA) chapter and sits on the executive board of Just GO! Global. Sarah is also a guest lecturer for the Hospitality, Meeting and Travel Administration undergraduate program at Metropolitan State College of Denver and sits on their Curriculum Advisory Board. From a life-long passion for travel and a deep interest particularly in travel to Africa, the concept for The Fazendin Portfolio was born. Sarah has traveled extensively through North and South America, Mexico, Europe as well as Africa and looks forward to continuing this global exploration. Sarah promotes the idea that travel fosters global understanding and personal growth, and strives to bring the power of African travel to the American market. Combining travel marketing strategy with wide-reaching public relations initiatives, The Fazendin Portfolio effectively works to develop strong business relationships between Africa-based travel suppliers and the travel trade in North America as well as generate basic awareness and understanding of African travel products among North American travelers.
